Having to let go and let your child face their own battles is hard! My son just wants to work, he got accepted at Hardee’s had his orientation on the 11th and every day he called to see if they wanted him to come in for training, 3 days of no calls took him to go in person and ask, they said come Thursday he goes for 2 hours again no calls for another day goes in person they said come on Wednesday again just 2 hours no more schedule they tell him come Friday to see the schedule I drive him there’s no schedule to come back on Tuesday. The urge to walk in there and just be like do you want him to work here or not?? How hard is it to write on a piece of paper a temporary schedule to come in for training 🤷🏻‍♀️. 2 weeks of being hired and he’s still not on the schedule does that even makes sense??? I told my son you don’t have to stick to this job there are other places. Or wait until you turn 18 to have more opportunities.
