Как помочь ребенку с аллергией и боязнью уколов?
J’s allergy testing came back with him off the charts for trees. He’s maxed out on allergy meds so he’s starting shots in a few weeks. He has a huge needle phobia, so hopefully all will go well. T is having a full immunity panel done, and results are trickling in, so far so good. Hopefully it all works out.
To make us feel better, we’ve been raising 19 butterflies and releasing as they’re ready. I do have one named Princess who didn’t form correctly, so she’ll stay with me 🥰

Putting lidocaine on before shots has really helped my daughter. A hesitant pharmacist made a shot hurt more than it should in 2024, and she was fearful from then on, but the lidocaine made it absolutely no problem.

Thanks for sharing this! Little Man had allergy testing done Friday and needed a blood test. I’m confident he’s traumatized by Friday, it went so poorly we’re filing a complaint, and I wasn’t sure how we’d ever do needles again. This info just might save us.
