Is this lame/weird? My kiddo wants to have a birthday party at a specific place. I failed and waited too long to book for a party. I am thinking of still paying for his friend’s tickets to go but there will be no party room or food. I plan on taking him out to dinner after and people who want to join, can. The drive for some people will be 45 mins-1 hour. The game time is 75 mins.

Not lame! I have done this. Party rooms are overrated though lol. I am sure they will have a blast. Sadly for use we did not have many people join but kiddo had a memorable good time.

I am just used to hosting party with tons of food. I feel terrible having parents drive so far and I have nothing to offer. Just waiting for the kids to be done playing.

that is a tough-ee. I mean the parents can purchase whatever that is offered at the location. I know it is not ideal.
