So I have a question my Obgyn prescribe me progesterone I’m 6weeks pregnant she said I’m a good candidate to try it out because I’ve had miscarriages my question is what does it do n how does it help this my first time trying it out

I had two miscarriages and progesterone was the answer to stop it. I had two healthy pregnancies on progesterone. It helps keep the hormone up which is necessary for viability. It might make you nauseous but it’ll be worth it.

see the funny part I asked the nurse and she says they don’t need to check it … it’s ok to take it that’s the part that confused me

it won’t hurt to take it. No. It won’t do damage. But it’s strange they don’t want to test for it
