Weird convo... chime in, please?
Ok, so if you're teaching your little girls, and later boys, about the human body. We all teach the boys that they have a penis, but, what do you teach the girls? Do you teach vagina or vulva? Also, does it truly matter?
Sorry, we ALL call it a vagina or vag lol. Most adults would not know what a vulva is, especially men. So vagina is fine for a young age.
@ksmommyx3 @evildrporkchop. It was so confusing, the discussion was about teaching correct names for body parts so that children can explain if something happened to them so all adults would understand them. Someone was telling me that I should teach "vuvla" because it's the correct term, and that it's an issue that female genitalia is often mislabeled 🙄 but the whole thing was to teach little girls so that if they were inappropriately touched, and they explained it to an adult, the adult would understand. I couldn't see what the big deal was teaching vagina, especially if people would understand.
Thank you ❤️ it's crazy, someone was practically arguing with me, saying they should be taught correctly, and vulva is the right word... I'm like, my daughter is 2... lol.
I would probably just teach vagina to start with. There are so many different parts with different names. A very young kid would probably get confused by all of that.
I think it's too confusing for small children too, and we should teach them the correct words, but vagina is fine, everyone knows what a vagina is.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Vagina over here.
