My poor child woke up this morning expecting to go with her friend and the mom to the local amusement park. After not hearing from her I reached out and she said she was at Church. Cool nbd. Church gets over at 1 or wait its communion day so now it's 2 but we'll be there soon.... it's now 3:30 and I haven't heard from this woman. Like damn, life happens just call it a wash and we'll try another time.

Yeah that sucks. I learned to never tell my kids about outing until the day of.
This!! I NEVER tell my 7 year old about where we're going or what is planned til the day of and it's confirmed lol. She will BUG me to death lol or if someone cancels she'll be heartbroken
@ksmommyx3 girl this woman was stringing me along all damn day. NEVER again. It's a shame too because her daughter is one of my daughters best friends
Agreed, and sorry your daughter was disappointed. I agree, let's not string things along.

That’s so rude! I have had to cancel a play date before & I let my friend know asap. That’s so rude to string someone along like that ESPECIALLY for something as exciting as going to an amusement park.
