I do a lot for Easter. But I do very little candy. They get new rain boots, a new outfit or two, they get a few gift cards, new fun toothbrushes, last year they got bikes with their baskets. They collect squishmallows so they get a couple of those. New books (my 9 year old reads a lot), bookmarks…things like that. I only get to spoil them for such a short time, I do something for all the holidays I can. 🫣🫣🫣
We do nice baskets and an egg hunt at my house but the baskets aren’t huge,,, a couple small candies,, they all got a shirt, a new cup and a couple of toys / books a piece .. and the baby got clothes and a couple toys 😂 but they also get baskets from my mom and my grandma and we do an egg hunt at my moms too 🙃 so they get tons of crap
I always go out. Every year. I don’t like giving out sugary junk so it’s outdoor toys, room decor, etc.
I literally made a status a few weeks ago about how Easter is a second Christmas here lol.
Hey, like I said I’m not knocking it.. especially if it’s stuff that they can use more than once, I like the outdoor toys and room decor that is always good 😊
@jays.mom., it’s a mix of a bunch of random stuff. My daughter’s basket is so big she can fit in it.
Last year we did a scavenger hunt annnnd I can't remember what was at the end but the kids are wanting the same this year! I blame the Internet for ppl going all out!
@m00my2five, I hate YouTube! It’s too much! My kids will sneak download it on the tvs and I have to figure out a way to put a parental control on the TVs so it doesn’t continue to get downloaded.

I spent $20 on both baskets lol. Their uncle felt left out since he was late sending his package so he sent me $25 to go buy them hot wheels to put in their baskets also lmao. That being said, they get a basket from both me and their dad.
There’s so much you can buy for 20 bucks for boys, hot wheels is a great example. In a way they score getting two baskets 😊
I don't think I am going all out, it's some candy, a few shirts, some accessories, some self care items she needs. My mom always did really nice baskets for us and I sort of follow her lead, but it's definitely nowhere near Christmas.
That’s totally cool, I was scrolling on fb and saw some chicks I went to school with doing like 200 dollar Easter baskets for their kids.. gift cards to Sephora, ulta, Stanley cups, then like all kinds of other stuff and like coach bags and stuff that is like more meant for Christmas.
Then of course Peppa 🐷 come on my post acting outta pocket and making subliminal post about me 😂
I didn’t go toooooo terribly crazy with baby’s presents. 😂 One bigger thing, a shape shorter, some puzzles, a couple books and a stuffed bunny. I did good limiting myself!

I got the girls each an Owala water bottle, I’ll get them a shirt or two a piece and some candy. That’s it
That’s a great gift, they’ll use the hell out of it and it won’t get tossed away quick like the damn cheap toys
We don't go all out like Christmas. They do get 1-2 gifts in their Easter baskets along with candy.
Yeah same with my kids, my daughter got some books, coloring books and playdough. The boys got like two small toys each
We don't even do baskets. We do egg hunt with candy and small dollar bills or coins in the eggs, but that's it.
I only do baskets still cause of my middle and youngest. I don’t think my oldest would really care if I did one or not. But it’s def not going to be a big extra thing

I am not even doing anything for Easter. Probably working extra hrs. I understand that people see it on media and follow/want to do the same or better. We may lose touch along the way and feel pressured to do so every year. All of those tinker toys pile up quickly😂
They also just get thrown away in the long run, so just throw your money away lol 😂. Yeah my kids have been watching like YouTube videos and are asking for a bunch of stuff, I flat out said that I’m not doing it big for Easter at all. Christmas just just right around the corner.

I just don’t understand it, my kids are getting an egg hunt and a very small baskets with a few toys. I’ve seen a couple ppls baskets they’ve made for their kids that have like hundreds of dollars worth of stuff or just multiple baskets.. like what’s the point lol

Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
Overall whats everyones thoughts on this. Me personally I dont mind lgbt .but to teach it I feel like is a waste . I can teach my own children that if they ask or even wanna know
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
