When do you feel a child should no longer get a stocking and a Santa gift?

Do you mean pretending that they are from Santa or stop giving gifts in general? I’ll stop saying they are from Santa when they stop believing which I think would be around 10/11.
Did you ask him what he wants? I’m thinking about just doing a gift card for my 16 yr old step daughter.

My mother still gives us stockings but without sounding ungrateful I wish it would stop... it's literally junk that gets thrown away or donated 9/10. My sister and I have literally told her it's unnecessary but Christmas fulfills her shopping addiction so 🤷...I plan to do gift cards and small gifts once the girls move out.

Well I’m 30 and my mom told me that Santa sent a package and to make sure I’m home Friday 🤣 Santa (my dad) is apparently really excited about my stocking stuffers.

I’m 33 and my brother’s 36 I think, and our parents still give us stockings and santa gifts. 🤣

Gifts from Santa stop after they stop believing. Stockings are until 18/moved out/adult

I stopped at 18 with my oldest, but my 16 year old isn’t into it so I don’t know if it’s worth the effort anymore.

@supermomof4, has he said he doesn’t want it anymore? I’d say if he actually said “I don’t want it” then I’d stop and do regular Christmas presents.

There will always be a stocking with gifts. Santa gift will stop when he stops really believing in Santa. I think this year may be our last Santa year, he's been asking a ton of questions about Santa lately 🤔

Whenever they say they do not want to do it anymore. Gifts are still from “Santa” even though dd knows it is not lol.
