I rarely do this because it’s bad for your fuel pump. Makes it work harder, plus then you’re pumping the sediment that is naturally in gas through your engine that sits at the bottom of the tank. So while I’ve done it because I’m busy sometimes I try not to make it a habit.
Plus not to be Debbie downer continued but being a woman with kids, what if you’re followed. You don’t have enough gas to get anywhere. Or you run out of gas and some creep stops to “help” and murders you 🤣. My anxiety could never.
ah. Yeah I’m always alone with the kids. Hubby works too much. And I travel alone with the kids. So I’m super cautious. Just like when pumping gas I lock my doors because people have been known to open passenger and grab your wallet and run or even slide in and drive off with your babies in the car. If you need anxiety issues too I got you 🤣 🤣 I know I ruined your post and that wasn’t my intention. I swear. 💜
I’m guilty too… my husband is always telling me I’m ridiculous for letting it get that low 😂 and then I get the lecture ( but he always fills my gas back up 😂🤷🏼♀️😅)

You are definitely not wrong. I generally don’t go anywhere without my hubby but I definitely get what you are saying

I wait but nit too close to E, dh freaks by the time it is a quarter lol. So tank is usually half full most days.

Guilty! But only driving around town
during the day, if I’m traveling or know I’ll be out after dark I fill up earlier.
