Any baby-safe sunscreen recommendations? His pediatrician said since he’s close enough to 6 months he can use some, and it’s of course safer to use it than risk getting burnt. And I know I get burnt within 5 minutes of being outside, so it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s the same way! 😂

I like Alba Botanica but I am not sure of baby. They have baby formula but most will say “Babies under 6 months ask doctor”.

I love this brand too. We used to use BabyGanics back in the day but I don't know if they still make it. It was great.

We always did the barrier sunscreens as opposed to chemical when kiddo was a baby but I have no idea about the latest and greatest brands, and we did a lot of wide brim sunhats, sunglasses and long sleeve rash guard tees. It's best to just keep the sun off their delicate skin as much as you can. If you start young, they tolerate it better. I literally go from pale to bright red sausage within minutes in the sun. My kiddo always drags her chair into the shade, I don't know if she can tan like her dad because she refuses to do it. We are not summer people.

I use this brand. Supposed to be a clean/natural brand. Also, reef safe.

I use this brand. It does harden up when cold but it softens up after some kneading from the warmth of your hands. I love it. Especially since I have babes with eczema.

We use Blue Lizard Baby and I still use that.
My sister put a regular spray one on my girls and one of them broke out in hives. 😬
Honestly if baby isn't moving around, or you can keep him contained, I'd just use shirt, hat, the works & something for shade and hold off on sunscreen.

Oh I’m definitely going to bring a big umbrella for us to hide under when we go to the 4th of July parade next week. And he has the sun visor thingy on his stroller. I might have to pick him up a sun hat this weekend, if he’ll keep it on. He hates hats. 😂

hopefully you can just keep him out of the sun. Last year I was able to contain the baby enough and this year will be her first year with sunscreen maybe.

Yeah, luckily he’s just barely starting to army crawl, so it’s not like he can get very far. 😂 But I’m not going to put him down on the ground anyways around a bunch of people.
