J got an astounding report card!! I’m crazy proud right now! The only things that didn’t improve for him were self regulation and paying attention, which makes sense considering his diagnosis.
Now I’m at the pulmonologist with T….. upgraded to asthma from reactive airway disease, and got an epipen for his apple allergy. Now we’re waiting for bloodwork and chest X-ray to be done

Ok so my son just got his first job. He’s also type 1 diabetic. Well last night while working his sensor starts going off his blood sugar dropped to 52. They told him he could deal with it after he got his orders done, which in a way I understand that but at the same time if it drops low enough he can pass out and that won’t be good for anyone!! They wouldn’t even let him just grab some glucose tabs out of his bag. I’m so torn here because I don’t know what’s appropriate and what’s not.
