C-section: что помогло в восстановлении? Советы для молодых мам после кесарева сечения

C-section moms! What were some things that helped during your recovery? A friend of mine just had her son via C-section and I wanted to give her some comforts that’ll make things a little easier for her. This is her first baby so on top of the surgery

And take the pain meds ! A lot of people don’t want to / don’t be a hero . Take them round the clock until she feels okay enough to stop .

Okay - I just recovered - afew things , the second she’s able to walk TELL HER TO WALK!!!! Walking around helped me heal and helped the gas in my stomach come out !! There’s so much air going into her stomach while the c section is happening hee stomach will be super gassy! Another thing , pooping will be SCARY! Tell her not to push, if she does - witch hazel pads in the butt ! Sounds crazy but it healed my horrible hemrroids - I’ll post a pic of it . Another thing c section underwear . It goes over the belly button so she won’t be scared it’ll touch the scar . Also ask for gauze to put under the belly on the scar keeps it from getting wet ( scar should stay dry ) . If I think of more I’ll post !

Rice bags or heating pads were a must have for me! They really help the incision.. I also used a belly band that I happened to really like if you’re looking into getting her gifts :)

I was thinking of doing a new mom/c-section recovery care package for her

She should take it easy for the most part. Take pain meds as needed. Possibly a belly band but that is something she should talked to with her doctor.

Scheduled C-section moms

Regardless of how you deliver your baby, C-section or vaginal, you are still a mother. Too many people have misconceptions about C-section moms. Some is unintentional but many of these uninformed comments can be quite offensive and hurtful. And they are completely missing the fact, that the most important thing is that both the mom and baby are healthy and happy.👶🏽 Here are six things you should not say to a C-section mom. 1 ⃣ “Too bad you couldn’t have a normal birth.” Many cesareans are performed because of health concers or in emergencies to ensure the health of the baby, mom or both. But it doesn’t matter. There should be no shame or regret over the C-section. 2 ⃣ “A cesarean is way easier than a vaginal birth.” It’s major abdominal surgery and many moms have gone through hours of labor and pushing before the C-section. Postpartum after a cesarean is not easier or better. It’s different and both should be honored. 3 ⃣ “A c-section is an awful experience.” Why put the spotlight on negatives? Many women with twins or preeclampsia, understand in advance they may have cesareans. Let’s focus on the blessing of birth and baby. 4 ⃣ “Sorry you missed out on giving birth.” Please no more mom shaming. #noshame 5 ⃣ “You’re lucky you had a c-section…” Having a baby is an intense journey for any mom. It’s not lucky or better. A C-section is one way of giving birth, but the outcome is the same. You get your beautiful baby in your arms. 6 ⃣ “You’ll never have a regular birth next time.” Approximately 60 to 80% of women are able to have a vaginal birth after c-section or VBAC. Each pregnancy and delivery is unique, and we should celebrate moms. Stop the mom shaming and the insensitive comments! Did you have a c-section? Share your story in the comments below 💕
