Что я делаю не так? Ребёнок не успевает в школе

She can’t write at all and looking at everyone else in her class they all can write there name. It seems like she’s the only one that’s so behind on everything. She does decent listening to her to her teacher and others (besides her parents 😂) sitting for long is definitely a no and it takes a lot for us to get her to sit still. If she looks at the letters she can write it well but not looking at it she can’t write it at all

@wolfiemagic, she may just need extra time to develop the skills. Does she have a summer birthday? A lot of parents hold their kids back that have summer birthdays to give them an extra year before kindergarten. It might be worth considering if you think she needs it.

@2sweetie, her birthday is in may. She definitely not the youngest in her class there are some who are almost a year younger than her. I just feel like I’m beating myself up along with everyone else since I’m with her more. It’s just getting hard to hear that I should be doing more and she should be doing better and that I’m not taking her education seriously and I’m honestly at my breaking point

She can get all the way to H but then it becomes J’s and random numbers. With counting I’ve heard her count to 12-15 but when it’s time for her to do it in school she doesn’t know how and it’s the same with letters. I’ve seen her write letters correctly but at some point she starts not writing them anymore

@wolfiemagic, just keep incorporating letters and numbers in your everyday routine. She’ll get it. 😊

@wolfiemagic she may not be ready. What about playdouh and working with shapes and letters with play dough. Sidewalk child write a few letters and have her run and jump on that letter. Put letters up in the wall and say a letter and you fly swat it. I would push it. What's her dr say or teachers say about it. Is it more she doesn't want to learn or is there a learning disability making it harder for her. My son was the same way at that age I started working at home for 20 mins a day but made it games and played them with him and always changed it up. Once he started kindergarten everything started to click. I still have to teach him in different ways because normal ways schools teach he has no interest in its boring.

@mom2godzillaandwonkypets, her teacher doesn’t really say much besides academically she’ll probably needs to repeat pre-k and we think she may have a learning disability but her teacher has said she’s too young to be tested for it so we’re going to talk with her dr on if we should but at her last appointment she has said she right on time. Shapes and colors she has down just seems like letters and numbers is what giving her a hard time
