What happened to my home?
Well my beautiful home is gone it caught on fire while i was at work my oldest son saved all my kids then ran a mile to my work to get me all while having smoke exhalation and had to be placed on oxygen.

I am so sorry Tay, I am so glad you all are alright, I second checking your paper work and seeing if maybe you do have insurance we were also required to get insurance through our mortgage before getting the house. My heart goes out to you. 🤍

They did they gave us money for a hotel for a few nights but we can't find one that will take all of us

I’m so sorry!! My brother did this to our house when we were younger and I remember how crazy it was I can’t imagine being the mom with all those kiddos I’m surprised they didn’t help out more the firefighter put us up In a hotel for 2 weeks till my parents could figure out what to do
They gave us a little money but we can't find a hotel that will take all of us or occupancy for 2 rooms with 2 double beds. N come to find out before we moved in the house caught. On fire in basement

@mamaof2000, You might want to check to see if insurance was added into your mortgage payment.

@mamaof2000, So sorry! You are required to carry insurance before a bank will approve a loan in most cases. Check your paperwork from your signing.
