Should I homeschool my friend's son?
Idk how to go about this my friend asked me to homeschool her son he is the same age as my daughter. I’m not sure what to say I understand she don’t know English that much so that’s why she asked me.
But thinking about it’s a lot of work. I know I have my days where i do work later the day. I really don’t know what to say.

Personally, I wouldn't do it. It's a lot of work added to your plate, and there are many resources for her to help her even if she doesn't speak much English.

I was telling her connections academy will help her a lot if he needs extra help. I told her I can help sometimes but not all the time because it’s a lot

That is a lot to ask. Will it be the same level learning?

@lalaenchilada, is she expecting for free? This is a huge responsibility.

No. Just say no. Just the thought of this sounds overwhelming. What's her reasoning behind it?

She said she wants him just to be homeschooled

then it's her responsibility to provide it. Not yours. Don't feel pressured to say yes.

thank you I felt like I had to say yes! I mean the kids are the same age but what if he is a slow learner (not saying nothing bad) then it would take me longer time to get done with subjects. So I feel it would be a lot. I told her she can they always have extra help for them. She said his homework now is hard for her and the dad to even do.

That’s a big hell nah for me. You have your hands full with homeschooling plus a baby you don’t need any added stress.

That’s what I told my husband
