I have a question. Baby is sick she isn’t wanting to eat she cries a lot she is only breastfeeding a few times a day she has a horrible cough and running nose
Should I take her into the ER
How many wet diapers is she having every day? I would look into her pediatrician or urgent care. If it's urgent care, go as early as possible, they get busier as the day goes on.
Does she unlatch and cry when she is breastfeeding? We’re her ears checked at all? If you’re concerned I also normally wouldn’t suggest going to the ER but if her cough is really bad and with the flu and RSV going around maybe it would be worth the trip or could you make her an appointment to be seen again at the pediatricians office or an urgent care and have her tested? Or looked over again?
None of my kids eat much when they're sick. Journie just breastfed mainly for like a week straight when we had the flu . She was super whiney and coughing/congested too. If her breathing gets difficult I'd take her, otherwise it's normal for them not to be hungry when they're sick. Continue to nurse her on demand.
I would try urgent care or your pediatrician before going to the ER. Doesn’t sound like an emergency based on your description. You may have to hold her upright so she can sleep through the cough. When my daughter was 7 months she had her first cough and I had to put her in the swing all night because of the incline. She still woke up coughing every 20 minutes 😩 It was rough. I didn’t sleep all night.
I agree with the RSV but if she hasn't changed since Friday....what are you giving or doing for her?
Does she have a fever? Is she struggling to breathe? Labored breathing? Is she acting lethargic? I mean with rsv going around and her being an infant if no urgent cares are open and your gut says something is really wrong go. I generally don’t suggest ERs ever but again this year rsv isn’t playing. So I say go with your gut. If you think she isn’t struggling too bad and can make it to pediatrician tomorrow do that too.
She sow him on Friday he said she was fine but I feel she isn’t something is bothering her
@lalaenchilada, always go with your gut. Ers are swamped but if you feel something is really wrong. Go. Again I am not an advocate for using ers except if you’re dying or you lost your entire leg. But with that being said and her being so tiny and rsv being a bitch this year go with your gut.
@whereswaldo, that’s what I’m scared of I just got back from Colorado since I came back she don’t want to eat she drinks a little water but not to much she cries all day
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
Dad's FB Video!!
Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
Call her pediatrician fist and see what they say first. I hope she feels better
