It breaks my heart that my oldest is allergic to dairy. He asked for yogurt randomly and we had to tell him that he can’t have yogurt because it has milk and he said “But mom I’m 5! 5 year olds aren’t allergic to milk so that means I’m not allergic anymore and I can have some!” Like I really wished it worked like that buddy.

My oldest is allergic to dairy too. He likes the silk soy milk yogurt and the almond milk yogurt!
The hardest/saddest one for me with my oldest is ice cream. We have dairy free alternatives at home, but when we’re out in public and there’s an ice cream shop they often don’t have alternatives or even Italian ice. He gets really sad when that happens.

I agree! We avoid ice cream shops or getting anything with ice cream when we are out eating. He loves Ben and Jerry’s non dairy cookie ice cream.

Aw man. There are many dairy-free options these days but you’ll have to test which works best. Some like ones with soy milk are not as great in taste😞

I didn’t even know that this was a thing honestly. We have found alternatives to almost everything Mac and cheese, pizza, etc but I never even thought about yogurt having an alternative. Also, she grew out of it? How old? He’s been allergic his entire life, he would have reactions as a baby if I had milk (breastfed baby) then when food time came around came the puking etc etc. he wasn’t diagnosed until 3 years old and they made it clear that this was an actual allergy, not an intolerance. Pediatrician said he could grow out of it but as high as his allergy was it’s unlikely.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
When can I start giving my son regular milk? He turns 10 months in 2 days. I bought unsweetened almond milk yesterday so he can try. Would that be okay? I’m lowkey tired of him on formula but I mean he’s still a baby lol.

For example: my son only drink chocolate milk :( he will drink white milk and cereal but never by it self ) with my daughter I’m trying to not give her NONE . So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that

Amazon has nut milk makers. I own one myself it’s about 200$ but we don’t eat much dairy either so you can make your own milk and knows what’s going into it and with that milk you make yogurt and ice cream and popsicles like I do with my kiddos. You can get everything you need from Amazon and that way your little one can enjoy safe and healthy yogurt and isn’t fill left out or different because he can’t enjoy something lot of people can.
