Should I renew vows after 10 or 15 years?
i’m over here thinking: should I do a vowel renewal with my husband at the 10 year mark, or 15 years?
I know he’s the one I’m going to spend the rest of my life with… It’s been just passed eight years together. I’m still happy & not annoyed hahah.
but I’m over here starting to plan A 10 year renewal and it’s gotten into my head that that might be too soon?
like every time I look on Pinterest or Tiktok or something I see some thing for 15 or 20 year renewals.
people wouldn’t make fun of me for doing a 10 year, right??
our wedding was huge in San Diego..
this one will be much smaller … 50 ppl max including us. Probably either in Lake Tahoe or my family’s land in Oregon.
anyway, I’m rambling… I just worry that people will think I’m silly for doing 10 years since that’s not thatttttt long, ya know?

I told my husband I wanted to have one since we eloped. He said so the last so many years didn’t mean anything to you? 🙄🙄 I’d love to have a ten year vow renewal

My husband & I will hit 10 yrs married on September 14th. And we’ve talked about doing a vow renewal with just us & our kids on a beach somewhere. I’ve always said I want to renew at 10. Lol Maybe we’re weird. 😂

A 10 year "I still love you" party sounds fantastic lol
Mine would be "I haven't killed you after 10 long years" typa party 🤣

We did a bow blessing on our 5 year anniversary (after my baby shower, lol). We got married in my faith so we blessed in his. Plan on doing the big party for 20 or 25 year (we just passed 11). We only had 16 people at our wedding , including us, so we want to have the big party

We celebrate our 20th in 3 years. I think it would be awesome to retrace our footsteps to Niagara Falls where we eloped. Do a little recommitment ceremony by the falls with our daughter there.

How fun to read all these comments! Go for it!!! I wanted to do a trip at 10 years. It's a milestone that should be celebrated! I say go for it!! 🥰

We did a big family trip for our 10 year last summer. We had a lot of other milestones to celebrate so we decided on a vacation over a party for each big event (1st birthday, 18th birthday, 40th birthday, 50th birthday, kindergarten graduation, and 10 year anniversary) all within 7 months.
I think you should do what makes you happy! If you want celebrate this achievement with friends and family—go for it!

We plan a 10 year but our wedding was just us and our son no one else because our family's suck lol. Beautiful picture. I think life is short do what makes you happy
