Had anyone else noticed that there is usually a bigger price difference when shopping online there? An item specifically say that it cost more when bought in store. Is this just for the holiday season or something they're doing regularly now

this is pretty common for them throughout the year. They will price match their online price though if you show them at the register. A lot of times you can get that online price if you do a pickup order or drive up. I love target and that’s basically all I shop. Make sure to use your cartwheel app also.

Yes it’s so annoying. It’s been like that for a while not just during the holidays. I always scan the price on the app before paying to make sure I’m getting the best price.

Stores are really trying to stick it to us! They have been doing this for a while. Right now there is an over $4 price difference in an item I bought yesterday and made a special trip into the store just to save some change on butter! It's ridiculous.

This is the reason I’ve stopped using instacart because of the added fees for convenience. It is a tad bit more on the app which is no big deal when viewing individual items until they add up. Inflation is cruel enough.
