This is what I want to make/would normally make, but I’m not sure it’ll all get made since it’ll just be my husband and myself:
Cajun Turkey
Chorizo Cornbread Stuffing
Cheesey Brussel Sprouts Casserole
Sweet Potatoes with Marshmallow Topping
Mashed Potatoes
Rolls
Pumpkin Pie
Chocolate Cupcakes
The problem is husband and I like opposite dishes 🤣 I’d be happy without the potatoes and pie. He’s not a huge turkey or stuffing fan. I guess we’d both be okay with the Brussel sprouts, rolls and cup cakes 🤷🏼♀️
I get assigned Mac and cheese....but there's always fresh green beans, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, and then rolls and cranberry sauce. I'm thinking of making twice baked potato casserole this year since kiddo only eat mashed potatoes with cheese on them but we'll see how well the baby sleeps
Oh yeah stuffing too. My family is very basic and Joan serves bbq on flannel Friday lol

I usually make green bean (the only casserole I will eat)
Rice (yup)
Mashed potato + homemade gravy
Stuffing
Apple Harvest Salad
Beef or cheese empanada
Pumpkin pie
Cornbread (sweet style because I am from the North E)
This year I am ordering takeout (which we rarely ever do) and chillin at home. Avoiding cooking or going out lmao. Vietnamese or Japanese dinner.
I need some MENTAL PEACE.

That sounds like a nice zero-stress way to spend thanksgiving!

We never have a regular Thanksgiving meal. Ever.
Mexicans and their Mexican dishes lol.
However this year my brother in law partner said "I will cook you guys a full "white" Thanksgiving meal". Turkey and sides.

We’re doing fried turkey, honey ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry, gravy and rolls this year
