I have been a firecracker today. Caught up on and put away all laundry. Cleaned all 3 bathrooms, cleaned the girls bedroom and gave them beds (which I had to assemble) so yay no more matresses on the floor, then I took out a lot of garbage, cleaned litter box, got the roast in the oven this morning, caught up on all dishes and they are put away, counters are decluttered and wiped down, and I just finished sweeping and mopping while the girls are finishing their naps!

It doesn't happen often lol. After the kids go to bed I'm taking a shower and celebrating my busy day with a drink 🙃 then hoping to take kids to a trunk or treat tomorrow!
Sandy!! Who's getting caught up in this crap? I just read they are conservatively estimating more than 10 million people without power. Ugh!
do you... Clean up after your SO is done cooking? Or vice versa? DF was cooking and while he was cooking I unloaded the dish washer and hand washed the pot he had used and put dishes in the dish washer, so by the time he got his plate, dishes were done and left overs were in Tupperware on the counter just in case anyone wanted seconds and counters were wiped down. The room mate asked me why I do that, and I just say that's how I was raised. I always clean up after anyone cooks in the house, even after myself. I clean as I cook, so DF doesn't clean up because it's done before dinner is finished lol. But there's rare occasions where he'd be in the kitchen while I cook so he does help out with the cleaning since i cook during the day sometimes so we can heat it up when it's dinner time. I want everyone to get their first and seconds before I eat. My mom has taught me to always clean up after your spouse makes dinner, it's only fair. They put their effort into cooking, you should always help them out.
Big mess. All clean though, just need to put away. Literally like 6 loads all clean. What fun I am such a procrastinator when it comes to putting clean clothes away after I wash them

Finished dinner and these are my husbands plates. How does he eat so much and gain ZERO weight?! 😩 He finished it all! & Don’t judge my plates, easier clean up for me. 😝
