Ignore the mark on the bottom of her foot, her shoes has mud. I took her to the chkd urgent care. They said it’s an infection n she couldn’t figure out if it was a bite. She said it was too swollen. She put her on antibiotics but i’m still kinda worried. Anyone seen something like this?

Poor thing! I hope it heals quickly. I would trace the redness to see if it spreads more.

My son has super bad reactions to bug bites. I use ice and the Benadryl topical cream to stop him from itching and making it worse but sometimes he bruises it. Is it warm? Can she walk?

Yes warm, swollen and we have it traced. She said it hurts. They put her on an antibiotic for 5 days but we don’t get that until tomorrow so tonight they told us to soak it and clean it really well. I’m just worried, my anxiety has me thinking a spider bite and her legs gonna fall off. 😂 Thank you guys.

For what it’s worth, spider bites are typically extremely distinctive even with the swelling. The venom enters through two holes that pierce through the skin and are almost always visible even with swelling bc it’s like an “exit space” for inflammatory fluids since that skin is already broken. I hope she feels better soon! Def ice as much as she’ll let you and try to keep her moving it around.
