Last night my beautiful little girl looked at me and asked why can’t she have white skin like the girl on her bus who told her that white skin is beautiful. I looked at her and told her that her skin is a beautiful golden brown color and she should be proud of it. I told her that sometimes people say things just to be mean so don’t listen to her when she says things like that. I asked her if she loves the color of her skin and she said yes because she is mixed with my color and her father’s color and she loves us. I hope my beautiful princess knows just how beautiful she truly is inside and out ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Kids at school are mean. But remember it’s the parent who projects their ignorance to their children.
In elementary, i grew up very poor and was picked on by it…this girl would constantly call me ugly. One day I asked my great grandmother (she raised me)
“How come I’m not pretty?”
She got angry and told me not to listen to what people say because “I’ve never seen a more beautiful second grader Krysta, you are so beautiful”

Kids are so mean it's disgusting and sad and it goes back to the parents and who is teaching these kids to act this way.
