Йом Кипур начинается сегодня вечером! Что нужно знать о празднике, посте, молитвах и традициях?

Tonight is the beginning of the Jewish fast Yom Kippur - Yom Kippur is a time where Gd judges us and we ask for mercy in His judgment , we do what is called “ teshuva” where we repent for the sins we made , we fast and a lot of people wear white because this makes us resemble an angel ( angels don’t eat ) . The gates of heaven are open those 25 hours , and we pray all day and ask to be written in the book of life and prosperity and all things good and to spare us from hurt and death . It will be hard this year because I still get super nauseas , I could eat small bites of things if it comes to it but I sure hope not . It’s a serious time of year , the prayers are so beautiful and alot of them are in song . ♥️
