Goodmorning ladies
How do you know if your baby has colic?
What can I do to reduce his colic?
#help 🥺😢
I would talk to the pediatrician if your concerns are colic, but also keep in mind that your baby is one month old and there is a major growth spurt at one month old they will be very clingy, they will be very fussy and very hungry and it’s not necessarily because the baby has colic but it’s because the baby is having a growth spurt. If you’re able to, I would download the app called wonder weeks it is phenomenal. It cost a few dollars but it’s definitely worth it and it gives you all of the Tips and a Calendar to show you when and what you can do to help the baby get through the Leap AKA the growth spurt.
Have you talked to your baby's Dr yet. Brody was a colic baby with Gerd. I breastfeed so I had to change my diet completely, smaller feeds but more often, and keep up right after every feed as well as make sure he was burping.
@mom2godzillaandwonkypets, how can you really tell if it’s colic or something else?
I had to adjust my diet with my daughter. I cut out dairy, soy and spicy foods. Also trigger foods like beans, broccoli and red pasta sauce. That seemed to help a little but it wasn’t instant. She was just a very fussy baby and cried all the time. I couldn’t take her anywhere 😢 Sometimes I would just sit there and cry with her. All I can say is that every stage is temporary and won’t last last forever. Get outside as much as you can.
