What was the craziest encounter you had yesterday? I was in the bathroom getting ready for my first prenatal visit and untrasound, i hear our almost 4yo come in the house and i hear him sweet talking something. You know like "awe hi baby" "you so cute" NORMALLY when I hear that its just some type of bug or daddy long leg spider, then I hear my boyfriend yell OMG GET THAT THING OUT OF THE HOUSE! I come running out of the bathroom only to find myself face to face with a baby squirrel hanging on to the end of a 2ft long stick. Me, trying not to panic walk kendrick, and the live squirrel on the stick, to the back door and and had him set the stick down on the patio. The squirrel just sat there attached to the stick for about 5 min before he finally made his way away from the back door and over to the trees we have in our yard. Let me tell you, Kendrick was sooo upset because he "just wanted to show us" i kept telling him he wasnt in trouble or anything, we just CAN NOT bring wild animals into the house, for 1: we have 2 cats that would have loved to have a squirrel for a snack and 2: well its just not safe for the squirrel or anyone else in the house to have him in here. Tears poured for about 20 min before i got him to tell me just how he exactly managed to get a baby squirrel in his possession. He said he saw a stick fall out of the tree and the squirrel was already on it. His story surprisingly makes absolute sense. There are multiple old oak trees in our year and sticks are always falling from them, and there are an abundance of squirrels around. Once the squirrel was out of the house i could not stop laughing 😂😂. I have always taught my children compassion for all creatures no matter the size, like if there is any bug or spider in the house we dont want in our space, we take it outside, the kids normally come and show me first just incase it is a bug/spider that may bite if messed with, but this is creature wispering on a whole new level 🤣 A freaking squirrel!!
Baby squirrel?😍
Did you guys place the squirrel back in the area for mom?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

I just killed a huge false widow spider in my house. I know that they are poisonous. Does anyone know how to protect the house from these spiders? I'm afraid of them😳
Make your own breakfast!
At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer.
My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
Yes it did make it's way back to the trees where it must have fell from.
