Что с ребенком? Сильная головная боль, температура и боль в животе - может кто-то сталкивался?

This may be a little long but bare with me. Thursday my oldest said her head hurt and her nose was a little runny. Friday night she spiked a fever and didn’t feel good. Saturday I took her to urgent care and they said she had a really bad sinus and ear infection. Her Covid and strep swab were negative. Her fever broke around 1am on Sunday morning. She felt fine other than some stomach pains. Sunday night around 1-2am she spiked a fever again. I gave her some Tylenol and around 6:30 it broke. She feels fine. The only thing bothering her is her belly. Idk what’s going on but I’m freaking out. She has an appointment with her primary at 3:00 but does anyone have any idea what could be going on? I have severe health anxiety and knowing that something is going on with her is causing me to be really on edge and anxious 😅

Update*** it’s strep 😭 her primary switched her antibiotics and put her on a steroid too so hopefully in a few days she’ll be good as new

Glad they cultured and got the results! That can be a sneaky one, I hope the rest of you don't get it too. Those antibiotics should have her much better in 24 hours.

Uhhhh

McKenna just had roseola and this is what it was like for her. When her fever broke for good, she had a rash all over her body. Theres no test for it. The rash us how they diagnose it

Oh nevermind. You said your oldest smh 🤦‍♀️

Im tired

I’m a worrier too but I have been told by doctors before to not worry about the fever but rather the other symptoms. Fever are good for tackling viruses so I only use Tylenol or Advil for pain but not for the fever itself. She’ll probably be good as new soon with some more rest and fluids

I will fully admit I am a worrier, but I 100% truly believe it is just a virus she's fighting that will pass.

It's extremely common for little ones to have viruses that their body fights with a fever response and it comes and goes. Especially if she's fine except her belly, it's just her immune system building. Fever is more distressing for parents than it is for kids usually. What is her temperature?

Dad's FB Video!! Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!

My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.

So my baby is 8 weeks old and is thriving with weight gain each doctors visit. So here is my question: around 4-5 hours at night for sleep she wakes up every night and sucks on her thumb. (She finally this week likes it to soothe her during nap times) her eyes are still closed and she moves around and sucks it. I wake her to feed her. My question is should I just let it go? And see if she is just soothing herself to sleep? I don't want her to stave by morning if she sleep a couple of more hours. What would you guys do?
