Что делать, если ребенка ставят на учет в школе? Советы и помощь родителям
Week 2 and we’ve already had to go to the RTI B team, today he’s having lunch detention in the 3rd graders class, 1 more incident and there is going to be a sit down with the principal. I’m just at a loss for words, I feel like I’m failing my kid in every way. I need all these referrals to hurry up ASAP so I can get all the help we need 😔

I am seriously so lost! And I feel extremely bad because this teacher is a brand new teacher this is her first year teaching and my kid is just not listening to her.. I did find out that this teacher did her student teaching at the same school with special needs kids so she does know how to work with him now I just need to get him into a controlled classroom.

Ugh that’s a tough spot but just stay positive my kiddo has 40 plus referrals from kindergarten just because of behavioral outbursts but we have done a lot better this year it’s really such a slow process I feel like but trust me before you know it he will be doing great! We still are jumping through hurdles and I’m still on a wait list for his behavioral therapy. Do they have a sensory room ? kaleb goes there during his outburst or if he’s getting overwhelmed and it’s so helpful for him!

he doesn’t have disciplinary referrals, they’re medical referrals to have him evaluated and stuff for his chromosome abnormality. You know what I never thought to ask if they had a sensory room but I did talk to the teacher via phone yesterday, and and she told me that she has a timer and he has a little area where he sits when he feels overwhelmed & she sets the timer and if he doesn’t feel like he’s had enough time to sit down and wine down when that timer goes off and she resets the timer but it’s not working.
