I feel so weird that school is about to start and Audrey isn’t going.. thankfully we have a huge community full of friends she sees frequently, travel plans in the books and several co-op opportunity’s to meet new friends. I can’t help but STILL feel weird and a sort of public school FOMO. 😅
But then I see her reading like a champ and making math & science her bitch, I know she’s already too far ahead to join 1st. She’ll get bored. She’s too weird and spunky to be with older kids so she can’t go up a grade level either.. I think I’m making the right choice. I hope! 🙃

I homeschooled my girls for the past two years! It’s not so bad once you’ve got into your routines. They did really well I’d say, but they both want to go back & miss school so they’ll be returning this year. But it sounds to me like you’re making the right choice! She doesn’t seem to be struggling so I’d keep doing exactly what you’re doing! I do know the feeling though not sending them & it feeling weird. When mine weren’t going anymore it definitely felt strange lol. Felt like I was messing up & forgetting to do something lol.

@kameltoeharris, yesss like something doesn’t feel right here lol. I’m glad it’s working for you tho! I love homeschool honestly. I have no anxiety because they’re safe in my home & then when cold weather hits or just rainy crappy days, we didn’t have to go outside to get a bus or anything lol.
