Has anyone ever used a travel agency or like a big name tour company to book a vacation/tour in the U.S? Pros/cons?
I've searched some sites, like collette or go ahead tours, but just wanting to hear experiences.
Im dying to see New England and I've contemplated booking a tour but I also thought about booking things myself and making my own itinerary, essentially creating my own "tour" which sounds like a lot.

There are quite a few of us on here who live/have lived in New England (CT & Maine for me). I bet you could put together a pretty decent itinerary with help on here and save yourself some money.
