It can take a while. Have someone other than you give the bottle and try squeezing a little milk into his mouth so he knows he can get milk from it. It took several weeks to transition my son to a bottle when he was a newborn. But he did great and I went back to work at 4 months.

My son never took a bottle I tried everything he only would breastfeed. I hope you find one that works

Best wishes! My dd2 refused anything but breast (for fluids)until she was 15 months. We tried when she was 5 months for an entire weekend to get her to take the bottle, but she would not, and she was too little for food yet. I went back to work when she was 13 months and she would get some constipated bc I had to be gone for 3-6 days and dh would have to use a syringe to give her milk to hydrate her and then she would absolutely nurse like a crazed and starving animal when I got home. She would eat food but would not take a bottle or sippy. When she finally did it was much to our relief. I thought I was going to have to quit to be home with her. Does she take a pacifier? If so you can use a bottle nipple and medical syringe to feed her through the open side of a nipple. When she suckles you squeeze the liquid through the open side. Hope this helps!!!

Have you tried the comotomo brand? They’re supposed to be great for breastfed babies. My daughter liked them. (I breastfed and bottle fed her)
