I’ve seen the little libraries like these and the food pantry’s but never something like this!! Now I want to make one and it would be perfect to put in the play yard for the whole neighborhood!
The kids have been asking about the outside movies again but it’s just been soooo hot we haven’t done any yet.

My friend has a "sharing cupboard" in her yard. She puts snacks, books, games, puzzles, all kinds of good stuff in there. This is a really cute idea!

That sounds so neat! We have 4 of these around town with books in them. Then downtown we have 2 that are pantry cupboards and people stock it with shelf stable foods.

We have the food and libraries and I've seen a couple movies in with the books. This is adorable!! This looks like an old newspaper stand.

I think this is such a great idea for those who still have DVD players. My only concern would be that someone would put a movie in there that was not appropriate as a joke or something 😅 like put porn in a little mermaid cd case 🙃 clearly I don't have high expectations for people in the world these days

Oh geez I didn’t think of that. I think my neighborhood would be ok though. We pretty much know most of the people and their kids. We bought a lot next to ours and we tore the house down and made it a play yard for the whole neighborhood. Swing sets and basketball goal. We’ve set up there the last 2 summers with a projector and have outside movies and the neighbors join. I even got a popcorn machine lol. Planted fruit trees. Just something for the kids to do that’s safe. And I Lysol the swings and picnic tables all the time 🤦🏻♀️😆
