Bruh there should be no reason why it should take me all day to get in contact with a medical office. Trying to figure out if they accept my insurance, accept new patients and making an appointment

Go somewhere else. Obviously not a good sign, imagine trying to get a medical question or future appt. 🤷♀️

I have called several places. The insurance I have sucks and not a lot of places take it

I’d give it 24 hours for a non-urgent need and if I didn’t hear back within that time then I’d go somewhere else. They’re probably prioritizing based on need and lots of places are short staffed right now.

Go on their website. Usually they have all that information listed.

I did and I remember websites will tell you what insurance they accepted but now nothing

Call your insurance or go on your insurance’s website to get a list of in network providers.

I did and their website sucks. Most of the offices don’t even accept the insurance

I have an app through my insurance provider that will give that info, maybe yours offers something similar?

bummer. I would expect a call back within 24-48 hours. Or maybe try a couple different places if you don’t hear anything by then.
