Really struggling with what to get Emie for her first birthday?
Trouble is with Tommy i fell into the con of it all and bought all the colourful fancy toys but truth is they dont really play with anything at this age. Just want remotes, wires and phones that she knows shes not supposed to have 😂
Im literally scrolling down amazon and looking at one year old toys and thinking no, no, no she wont play with any of it. We have a box full of baby toys in the front room and i reckon she looks at them for maybe 5-10 minutes a day 🤦♀️

Yeah definitely buying clothes but it's not really fun for her to open. 1st birthdays are a nightmare it's more for the parent than the baby 🤦♀️😂 x

Things like clothes and bath toys. I find bath toys are always the best thing to buy!
Bath toys can't go wrong 😂 she does love a bath so definitely going to look into that! Xxx
A few small things for her to open, teddies, shoes, clothes. They don't understand at that age and I'm sure extended family will also spoil her :-). Something you could do is buy her a little bracelet she can wear if you have it engraved she will cherish that when she is older too x (the little gold bangles you can get for baby wrists. I had one still have it from when I was a baby x)

I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. At first I told him “only let her get one toy” so she picks one up and he is still holding her over the toy box then tries to put her over the baby gate so she can grab more. I’m sorry but you ...

I need to ask someone this have you literally regret having a child with someone. I love my daughter with all my heart but I really regret ever being with her dad.
Does your baby father tell you what time to be home like have a curfew ? Because really I'm not a child and I'm not going out drinking or partying it was a child play day and unplanned so of course I didn't wash the dishes if I had known I would of cleaned in advance and cooked but seriously he took it too personal saying I'm in the street all day and it's the last time I do this really do I look ten years old to him ?
Not much help with what to get but I quite liked the concept of something she needs, something she can wear, something to read and something she wants (not sure she'd be able to tell you that though!)
