With recent events about woman’s reproductive system being more important than our health it reminded me that after i gave birth to my first born and went to get an iud, i was asked how many pregnancies did i have and i thought he was asking me if i was pregnant mind you i was only 17, i said i wasn't pregnant, the male nurse yelled at me saying "are you crazy why would you get an iud, if something goes wrong it can puncture your uterus and you risk the chances of ever having kids" that was more important, the future of me having kids or not if something bad happened but not more concern for my own health if that iud did puncture my uterus which can be fatal. his tone completely changed once i said i already have a child that i had just given birth 🙄. Same hospital that also told me while I was pregnant that if I wanted I could abort without my parents knowing.
