Would you guys send your 5 year old alone on a plane to Texas? It would be to El Paso so he would need to take two planes instead of one.
My son is begging to go to my sisters house but him taking two planes alone doesn’t sit right with me.
IUI Monday!! So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years!!! It was a good thing we picked up a trigger shot before we left too :-)
anyone have any tips or tricks for taking a 9 month old on a plane?

I'm a flight attendant and I will tell you, before Covid and all the chaos that is currently going on, I would have said yes and given you recommendations. As it is, right now I scream absolutely no way to you. With all the cancellations and bad behavior people are exhibiting I am afraid to even go back to work in September when I am due back. So again, a big heck no. I'd drive my baby to whoever I was trusting enough to let him visit and pick him back up accordingly.

I was just thinking about this yesterday & how my parents did with my sister when she was 5 back in the early 90s. I wouldn’t do it now, especially with 2 flights. I have seen younger kids flying on their own and the staff has been really great with them, but I would rather pay extra to have someone fly down with him and then fly back to pick him up when his trip is done. Plus people are extra crazy on flights these days. I wouldn’t want kiddo to witness any crazy arguments or fights and be scared with no familiar adult around.

My mom did it with me as well when i was 6 and I had fun from what I remember but idk how she did it because just the thought of having him fly alone is killing me.
