Do you or your family take flowers and such to graves of loved ones?
I dont personally I know I should, but I'm too emotional after that it messes me entire mood up. 😥 so I do little visits instead.
But my other family memebers do that, decorates them for the seasons and stuff.
No but we haven't lost someone that close to us yet.
We go every memorial day and plant flowers on multiple different graves.
Yes, when I am back in my home state to pay my respects and out of tradition.
my mom is cremated. She has a shelf with her urn and special items. I decorate it for holidays. Her 1 yr death anniversary is coming up so I plan to buy something to put on her shelf.
My grandparents have been cremated. So we don’t have a place to visit like that. But I light a candle in the window the day they passed.
My family does. I don’t live near my family but I will go visit if I’m ever back there. My grandma told us to “never waste our money” on bringing flowers so when my uncle visits he adds different little trinket type things around there.
My parents will pick days and just go grave “visiting” putting out new flowers, removing old ones, they carry the weed whacker… I can’t see wanting to spend a day like this.
@evildrporkchop. Yeah, no. Me either. Maybe I don't process death the same way they do
I actually find it morbid but I'll go every now n then to visit my mama and my granny
