What are some easy things I can do with my 5 year old to help get her ready for kindergarten? She went to pre-k and can write her name, knows her colors, ABCs, can count to 35 (she can keep going but mixes her numbers up sometimes), knows her full name, knows all of her close family members full names, is working on knowing her address, knows all of the basic shapes, can write other names but needs a little assistance sometimes. I can’t remember everything that she’s supposed to know by kindergarten but I’m sure there’s more than the list above that she needs to know. Also, we’re enjoying summer right now so our bedtime and daily schedule are a little whack most days but when is the right time to get back into routine before school starts? She goes back the first week of August 😅
