Exactly, I set them straight, said if she's hungry she's hungry, my job as her mum is to protect her and give her what she needs, not watch her sufferx

Only if I self discharge and take her myself but she's got to be monitored constantly all night and it'd mean starting the process over again x

There's so many things wrong with this hospital that it doesn't even surprise me they said it, it just makes me angry

@zoeslater17049 honestly feed on demand them telling you to limit a newborn is insane. I think this is all down to her being run down and unwell to begin with. Whoever said that to you shouldnt be working with babies my god 🤦‍♀️ imagine she said that to someone who hadnt had children before its so damaging. In my experience i havent had much good memories with midwives even the one who was helping me through my induction was absolutely useless and would have let me give birth on the induction ward had i not shouted at her for telling me i wasnt in labour when they got someone else to check i was 5cm 🙄 xx

@kelsey234 I was in that exact same position with Archie, I was labouring for three days and the midwife wouldn't check and said it was a UTI, she was born 2 hours later
