How much blood in poop is normal after gallbladder removal?
TMI but I’m freaking out a little bit and I’m afraid to google it …..
How much blood is ok, if any, to have in your poop? It’s happened to me several times over the years since I had my gallbladder removed but never like this. It literally looked like I had just started my period hardcore. There was even quite a bit of blood in the toilet as well. So all in all a lot of blood. I am not on my period either.

Yes, do you have hemorrhoids? This happened to me when one popped. There was so much blood for like 10 minutes.

Could definitely be an internal one. I would mention it to your doctor to be safe.

Are you having any pain? Anal fissure is also a possibility, but those usually hurt.

Usually bright red blood is a hemorrhoid or something like that. Black blood is usually more of a concern because it means it's higher in the GI tract. Have you taken a lot or aspirin or advil over the last few days? That makes it worse.

It was bright red and I took an Advil dual action yesterday. But just one instead of the recommended 2.

flax seeds and omega 3 fish oil is also a major blood thinner. My guess is this is an internal hemorrhoid and will go away.

Sounds like a fissure since it’s bright red. If you were bleeding internally somewhere the blood you see in the toilet would be dark/tarry. Def call your doctor tho and see what they suggest.
