Severe stomach and back pain?
Has anyone experienced severe upper stomach pain? I was at the emergency room & they told me it was just acid reflux but I can barely walk cause of this pain. Plus horrible back pain too. 😖

I have severe, debilitating pain when I eat raw broccoli, even if it's cooked but not well enough. It's so severe, I'm balled up in the bed for 5-6 hours when it happens. I have a high pain tolerance too. That pain is no joke.
I can't say my experiences were the same as yours though. Everyone's body is different and we all process pain and symptoms differently. If I were you I'd go get some testing done if it happens again, maybe even try to get referred to a gastroenterologist and get an endoscopy procedure done to make sure nothing serious is going on.

I have high pain tolerance too, and I can barely walk. Is really awful. They did an ultrasound, blood work, and all of that. I’m gonna ask my ob about that because is horrible.

yes, ask them. I'm sure if they thought it was needed they'd already refer you but can't hurt to ask. If it just happened this once I wouldn't worry too much about it but if it happens again I'd definitely get more opinions

hopefully it’s not your gallbladder that’s how mine was the right side so bad hurts like no other all the way into your upper back to 😖

they checked it & told me everything looked normal. But if I keep going like this, i’m going to go back again.

Can you take Pepcid and see if that helps? I how you feel better soon!

Did they check for pancreatitis? Upper abdominal pain that radiates to the back is usually a symptom.

Yes they did, I ended up going back to the er & everything came out normal again. They gave me some medicine & i’m feeling a little bit better.
