Three days left to pack before moving
3 days to finish the packing so we can go to the hotel . That gives me three days to come back and clean this place up. I can’t believe this is really it! We really sold the house. I brought two of my babies home here it’s so bitter sweet but we need more space so trying to be positive. 🥲🥲🥹

I’m nosey - So, are you buying another house? When do you close on that? Just wondering how long you will be in a hotel cause that doesn’t sound like fun. I hope it goes smoothly for you though!! 🏠

@mamiluna we didn't owe very much on our house so when we realized how much the house could be sold for, we got it ready and put it on the market ASAP. We actually purchased our land beforehand because we were so confident that it would sell quickly, thankfully it did 🙏 It took a couple of months to sell and the showings were super stressful, sometimes I'd get just an hour notice beforehand so I'd be rushing around trying to make it look perfect, we kept it nearly perfect at all times though so it wasn't that tough to clean it up, my husband was super helpful and tried his best to keep everything picked up and stuff so it wasn't so hard on me if we got a call that they were gonna show it last minute I'm so thankful all that mess is over with & thankful to God for our blessing❤️
lol same girl! It was such a nice break for me! I REALLY enjoyed it, I like hotels anyway, always have & my husband is so picky on hotels so I knew he'd get the best our city had. My kids all loved it too & were surprisingly very behaved. I'd bribe them with the swimming pool lol after about 3 weeks we found an RV that wasn't too far away that we liked and wasn't an arm and a leg, sure we could have bought an expensive one but the point of it was to save $ for our building fund so we didn't want to spend over $15,000. The one we ended up buying was an hour in a half away and it took us a week to get it to were we wanted it, my husband's friend had the type of truck it took to move it, it's a fifth wheel so it can't just be pulled by any ole truck, so hubby's friend brought it up here to us when he got the chance and during that time we rented a VRBO, it's like an air b&b but in our area I guess it's called this. Anyways, the one we ended up staying in was super cute, gangster themed (the town we stayed in is known for al Capone and the big time mobsters vacationing in, it has horse races and a casino and an entire street called bathhouse row with spas and massage places, anyways, it was only like $60 a night, way better than the $200 a night at the hotel lol then we finally got our camper here, found a place to "camp" for a few weeks and got it homey feeling and move in ready. Been here for two weeks now and love it so far🥰
& Yes, Ours was 2400 SQ foot and I had to stay on top of it daily or it was a wreck 😂 You'll have fun. We had an indoor pool in ours and hot tub. When the kids went to sleep I'd work out at the fitness center😁 they had everything for breakfast too, a neat pancake maker, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, bagels, muffins, cereal, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, cranberry juice, milk-choc and white, eggs, omelets, cinnamon rolls etc etc. I miss the breakfast as you can tell. I'd eat every single morning 😂🐷 ugh I'm sorry your sister is doing that! That would be perfect for u guys!

Congratulations girl 🎉 It was bittersweet moving from our house too, Journie's first home lol! We are so so thankful that we were able to sell it before the housing market crashed or something crazy happened. We were able to profit such a large amount that we won't have to take any significant loan out to build our house with. We sold it for nearly double what we bought it for in 2020 so that was a blessing for sure🙏The land we bought (last october) (8 acres) is in a really nice area, near a small town with everything we need so it's not like we are too far away from a doctor or dollar general lol... Our plans were to always build in the country. My husband and I both grew up on dirt roads so we wanted to raise our kids close to the same🥰 have you guys found a home to move in yet? Or are you guys building too?
