Как справиться с проблемами детей?
Just a little vent
I don’t like putting my business on here but I honestly don’t have anyone else to talk …anyways my oldest has adhd & so we’ve been reaching out to a few centers for support in helping her & her doctor has recommended putting her on medication, we were real hesitant on that option for months but I’ve been doing research & praying & thinking about how this may or may not help her & honestly at this point today I think it won’t hurt to try it so we schedule an appointment for this week! On top of that my son has an autism screening at the end of this month & that has been on my mind. I’ve done research, found supportive groups on fb but I still have so many emotions, not saying any of this would make me love my kids any less it’s just so much all at once. And my husband kinda shuts down when he doesn’t know how to handle things so whenever things get brought up he stays quiet & so I feel like I’m dealing with all of this on my own.

Hugs ❤ it can be so hard. My youngest has adhd, odd, and anxiety. I struggled with deciding to put him on medication as well but he was struggling in school and I was constantly getting calls and he was hurting himself. We put him on medicine and he got an emotional support worker and we set some things up for him so he could leave during class if he needed and go to his own space. He also sees a psychologist every 3 months. It will get easier over time ❤

Sending you lots of love. It's hard when your spouse's defensive mechanism is shrug off and shut down. :(

Is your son getting screened for ADHD as well?.
When my oldest was diagnosed with ADHD and autism they said that they share a lot of similarities when it comes to diagnosing them.
My daughter's ADHD is mild and not causing any issues at home or at school so we decided not to medicate.
My husband wasn't very supportive in a way either. He just didn't want labels on our oldest but to me having the diagnosis was helpful so we could know how to help our daughter. I'm in the struggle right now trying to get my middle child evaluated for adhd but like her sister, she is showing no symptoms at school.

My man was the same way, since my oldest daughter was 1 I knew something wasn’t right.. my daughter wasn’t being verbal and has sensory issues. Everyone around me especially my man were telling me every kid learns at their own pace, but I felt in my heart it could be autism since it does run on my dads side of the family. But he still didn’t believe me, I didn’t feel any type of support, well a couple weeks ago she was diagnosed with autism. And now he’s much more supportive but we both try learning about it together, hope it gets easier for you girl im sure once you have a diagnosis it’ll be easier for you im here if you need to talk ❤️
