I was told to start taking castor oil at 36 weeks to start dilation in my last pregnancy and a few hours later that night I had painful contractions and was bleeding. I went to the hospital I was 5 cm dilated in active labor and still bleeding. 2 hours later I was at 9cm and the Broke my water because of the bleeding and were getting concerned my baby was small so when he dropped down they lost the heart beat. I had to push for 2 minutes at 9cm didn’t work so I had a c-section. Please never take castor oil.
