Double stroller: pros and cons?
Anyone have this double stroller.?? Pros cons.?

I have the baby trend double stroller. My daughter was 3.5 when my son was born and we've only used it a few times. Honestly with her being almost 5 when baby is born I wouldn't bother for a double. She will barely fit also. It's not with the money or hassle lugging it around.
@ksmommyx3, my car now is so small if I knew I was gonna get pregnant I woulda gotten a bigger car instead of a smaller one 😩
@ksmommyx3, it’s TINY.! it fits us now but we are all gonna be crammed once the baby comes my boyfriend is 6’4 so it’s gonna be a struggle
I'm not trying to change your mind but it says you have a 4½ yo. My kids with a lot of stuff saw the baby doing or using things and refused to do it because "it is for babies." Honestly, you could buy something for $20 and wear the baby for at least the first 6 months and then buy a cheap or used stroller. A double stroller no matter is bulky and takes up way more room than it needs to and if your almost 5yo doesn't want or need it then it's going to be a waste.
I was only going for this one because it would be easier to take both kids out by myself I wouldn’t have to transfer the baby then worry about walking with my daughter she usually does good staying by my side. And I also have a bad back yes I know the baby won’t be that heavy but my left leg goes numb and I would hate for it to give out when I’m wearing him that happened with my daughter thank goodness we were home but after that baby wearing kinda scared me
@taylorsmommy see if you can find this stroller in a store and try it out. Idk how much she weighs but pushing 40+ lbs isn't ideal either. If she does good staying by you then I would still consider getting a single and just push the baby. When we go for walks I use the double stroller for my 3 yo IF he will get in or gets hurt and the baby and he usually walks and the older ones try to get in and I have to tell them to get out because they are too big and pushing them is awkward and not ideal.
@m00my2five, the front hood 50lbs and the back 40 lbs she would be in the front and the baby would go in the back. I was also looking into a sit and ride stroller instead of 2 seats but I didn’t like that the car seat only fit in the front
Your daughter will be almost 5 so you won’t need a double stroller. Both of my kids stopped using a stroller around 2.5. They consider it a punishment to be strapped down into a seat 😂 We got one of those sit and stand strollers when my son was a baby and my daughter just turned 4. It was free from a friend. We used it like 3x but my daughter never stayed on it for more than a few minutes. It was a game to her to jump off of it and then back on again. I would get one used/free if you wanna try it first.
