If your not 100% ready to be a 24hour care giver you'll be putting ur all into someone you don't know. Then your going to go home and do the same thing again. Uv got to be able to put a ton of love into someone without getting connected or it's like ur grandparents die everytime you loose a client.
You got to be a punctual, clean, organized person. You'll be dealing with the most sensitive parts of there life, there home body and money. Youll be dealing with the generation of doers they worked hard for what they have there whole life and u got to respect that. They are not lazy ppl and don't want lazy in there homes.
It's one of the most rewarding jobs out there if u can do it.

That's doable I work as a PCA at a home health aid agency. I had to get ciritfed but most places do it there for free. At my place u can pick shifts so u can do 3 hours a day if u needed.
Some states and organizations required certification. Lots to consider. Would you be doing it private duty or would it be for a home health agency? I worked for a very large home health company for 8 years and the home health aides were kept busy but they did 30-1hour visits a couple times per week depending on what insurance authorized. They did baths and toe nails, etc. If its private duty it would be different. If you are talking about being a caregiver vs a home health aide, that looks different too
