COVID-протоколы ABA компании: второй случай скрытия информации о заражении RBT
Zay’s ABA company is about to get fired…
Zay’s RBT went off the grid for 2 weeks.
I honestly thought the guys mom died(she’s been sick for a while now)Noooooo!. His RBT had COVID, was in my house 3 days before the positive test, and NO ONE told us. I found out because he checked in with us to see if we wanted to start services up earlier now that he was cleared by the doctor. Imagine the look on my face when I read that text. I was ready to rip someone a new asshole!!! The RBT is a cool young guy and I’m happy he keeps it real and stays in touch because his company seems to lack that ability!
Thankfully, no one got sick but it’s the principle AND the second time some kind of covid protocols mishandling has happened. First time the company didn’t tell the RBT we were all infected back in August 2021. He came to the house and had no idea he needed to be tested and monitored at that point. You would think by now after that mishap(and who knows how many others)they would have the kinks out.
They already know I’m reporting this to the state board of behavioral sciences who oversee ABA companies. I am working on scheduling a meeting to see if I even want to keep him in the program or will he be going to the after school program with a 504 for his social skills needs as I type this.

When I had Covid, I called the health dept to notify them. They told me they don’t take rapid tests done without their supervision as real positives and that they literally aren’t contact tracing bc 1 in 3 people had Covid during the last surge so if you’re exposed or a close contact, just get tested or assume you have it 🙄. I guess that’s prob the same for your county and is so annoying.

The ABA company did a PCR on him and didn’t notify us and he was in my house 3 days earlier. It’s a viscous cycle of not following their own company protocols. So done with them

I know that many places have moved to only contact tracing two days prior to the positive test regardless of when symptoms started. Since he was around you guys three days before his test then you probably didn’t qualify as close contacts which is why they didn’t notify you. They still should’ve let you know that he wasn’t going to be coming to provide services.

I knew he was going to be out, I just didn’t know it was related to a positive covid test. Their own policy is 3 days which means in this case I should’ve been notified. That way I could make a choice on what I felt I needed to do for Zay and my family. It’s the combination of the principle and the inconsistencies that have me brows sky high in the air right now.
