We got a betta fish on Saturday. My MIL showed up with this really cool tank a friend of hers was throwing out unopened so she took it and gave it to me so we took the kids to the pet store and got a fish. Welcome to the family Sparky (named by my 6yo) lol

it really depends what you plant if it needs a lot of light. Microgreens dont require a lot of light so I have it sitting on my counter so it gets some morning and evening light

they love climbing up on a chair to help me feed the fish and they like looking at the seeds!

Do you have a heater and a filter? I dont know how many gallons that is but 5 and up is best for them. Just some friendly pet advice as I have had fish forever and worked with them

Yes i have a heater, its 3 gallons as it's a whole setup, and yes theres a filter system because that's what irrigates the plants
