Как получить права на общение с племянником при раздельном проживании с мамой и полной опеке отца?
Is there a way to get rights to see a niece/nephew if the mom isn’t in the picture and the dad has full custody? And your not related to the dad? 😮💨 any information would help

Probably not. You can try reaching out to the bio dad and ask if you can be in their life. Don’t know why anyone would wanna put a child through that after losing their mom. I couldn’t imagine actually putting the child through the stress of court. Maybe when they’re older you can reconnect.

That is tough and probably difficult to obtain if even possible but I think it is a no (check your state laws). 🥺I am so sorry.

Like others have said, no. But hopefully the father will be open to allowing his kid(s) to connect with their mom’s side of the family. I couldn’t imagine denying my children that if the people seeming connection weren’t toxic or otherwise harmful to the kids. Good luck. I’m sorry, that’s a very tough situation to be in.

I know grandparents have rights but unsure about aunt's/uncle's. I'd call DHS or someone to be sure. I hope you're able to see them soon🙏

He’s a very toxic drunk. He used to beat my sister… she took off while the kids were one and 6months and lost them to drugs. It’s going on 8 years this year. I’m in the kids lives but recently he’s been acting like there a problem with our family. (My grandma passed away and he ended up going to the house where she just died and my mom told him to leave. He had both kids in the car with him and ever since than he’s been back and froth with us.) yesterday he blew up on me while I was trying to take the kids to go out shopping. And he says I’m not aloud to be around them. Yes he knew I was taking them I asked before hand I always do and always have.
He’s always been one way or this way and it always has to go his way or no way. I’m just lost and upset. Yes I know I can reconnect when they are older but I’ve always tried so hard even before I had kids of my own to always be around and make the best for them.
Thanks you ladies for the advice I didn’t think there was much I could do I just thought I’d ask/ throw it out there…

As crappy as it is, we don’t have “rights” to any kids that we didn’t birth ourselves. Are you worried about their safety? Being a single parent when the other parent is a complete deadbeat is not easy so I can sympathize with him on that part. I think it would be beneficial to try to talk to him, not about the kids, but to clear the air between the adults. Otherwise give him space. If he frequently goes through periods of no contact, maybe that is his way of coping with things.

Get a consultation with a credible family law attorney in your area. They will tell you any laws, loop holes, etc in the event there are any possibilities. Few states extend "rights" to anyone outside of the parents. Praying for the children!!!

Abusive men I realized have mood swings alot my father was one a d my x it sound like he is moody and need time to cool off try giving him space and call him after that.also if you call acs and say he is an unfit father and they end up taking the kids they probably will give them to you family relative think about what is best for the kids is he abusive towRds them ?does he treat them well are they feeling happy around him or scared. How willtjry feel being away from him after thier mom died. Who will be thier best intest in care. They might go in the system before you get custody. What will be the best for them to live with you or him.how to go for custody if he is an unfit parent can you adopt them idk im thowing stiff in there as ideas for tbe kids benefit or a none abusive houshold.i grew up with an abusive father he drank alot i seen things hurt things i shouldnt have my sister too and she now has ptsd and is suisidale. I got into the same situation without realizing with an abusive man being in that type of care has life results. Iwished my mother would leave. She was with him 14 yrs of my life where i grew up thinking living with hiding the fear was normal and living with fear felt like home.
