When should dogs stay outside the grocery store?
Good morning/afternoon to everyone except the people who bring their dog inside the grocery store.

yeah, that is rude and there are reasons why you can not take your pets everywhere. Especially food stores.
How are they going to know what flavor of Gerber puffs and yogurt bites to buy their precious lil fur baby if they don't bring them in?
My favorite are puppies wearing service vests clearly not a service dog. Not even one in training as they don’t train puppies and they are out of control. Or a dog in general that is on a tight leash and wants to go check everyone out. Again clearly not a service dog 🤦🏻♀️. Like leave your dog at home. Or go to Home Depot if they need socializing.
@luvmyboogie, a lady in our neighborhood takes her dog for a walk in a stroller. It cracks me up. Now an elderly dog I could understand. But yeah.
@luvmyboogie, omggg yes, that is so common! I was doing a pop up and a guy had his CATS in a stroller! Yes, cats downtown in a stroller. I thought the nip must be strong for them to be as chill as they were
It's for attention, the girls all dress up with their hair and nails done and their tight clothes, walking around with a little tiny Yorkie under their arm. Yeah honey that's not a service dog
This was very specific 🧐 with a hint of judgmental lol idc what anyone wears or their grooming habits, don’t bring fucking dogs into food places.
well I'm just saying those are the type of people I always see with them here, it's part of their outfit the look. I also see kids in Walmart carrying around puppies. It gets them attention I see all people going up to them going aw look at the puppies so cute and can I pet it. They just love that attention from strangers cuz I have a dog with them
Ok..so..um..about a month ago I think I went to Pappadeaux's to treat myself and this lady had brought her tiny dog in her purse. She was feeding him from her plate and everything. She even took him out and you can clearly see he had no vest or anything so in my humble opinion definitely not a service dog. She was there with friends for awhile throwing back drinks and laughing having a good ol time. I mean no shade or anything..but what I didn't like is when the dog started shaking and scratching next to people's tables😩 I was just observing from afar while the people next to them started to complain. To be real I agree if your dog is not a service dog they need to stay home. Grocery stores, public bathrooms, restaurants etc..are a no go🙅🏻🙏 Don't get me wrong our little Dapple daschund likes to cruise with us if I'm making a run to get gas or simply just a little drive listening to music but i will absolutely not bring her inside anywhere unless it's PetSmart lol If i have to get out I'll take her back home.
You are a responsible pet owner. I think it is rude and selfish to take them to a place where people are eating and purchasing foods. There are many other places that are pet friendly places to take your dog.
I have a list:
Does not put a leash on dog when in public places
Does not believe in picking up after their dog
Does not read signs on where their dogs should not be like example, playground
Leaves dog in a hot vehicle with windows up
Allows dog to behave aggressively in public towards pedestrians and other dogs (especially dog parks)
@dontspankme I absolutely hate people who don't clean up after their dogs. I never take my dog anywhere she could poop where children play or people walk and I clean it up immediately. Like paper towels, gloves, make that ground sparkle.
it’s everyday here! Just like you said it’s not that hard. When I see the owners walk away, I automatically assume they live in filth and can’t even wipe their own asses. 🤷🏻♀️
I'd say that's accurate. You can probably smell the dog crap inside the house from out by the mailbox. Gross people.
This one time I had gone to ikea, and this lady had her dog with her on a leash, and he was just peeing on EVERYTHING. And she just watched him do it and walked away.
Keep your dogs home people.
